High Quality Fine Art Prints

Premium Canvas

Exhibition Matte Premium Canvas is our highest quality fine art print prepared on museum grade canvas which has the rich colours and fine details of classic oil paintings. This elegantly textured canvas features a matte non-reflective surface with a bright white point, exceptionally high Dmax and wide colour gamut. The canvas is an acid-free, lignin-free heavyweight cotton-poly blend and the base is enhanced with elastic polymers providing high tensile strength and flexibility for gallery wrap stretching without cracking. Each canvas is protected with a gloss UV scratch resistant coating to ensure the colours do not fade overtime and to allow for glass-free framing. Using archival inks and 100% cotton all nature canvas these paintings will last for generations.

The look - Simply put, it will look like an original oil painting.  We use 100% cotton all natural Exhibition Matte Canvas by Epson. This spectacular product is designed to last and with our archival inks and Giclee print process, you will be astonished at the vibrancy and accuracy of the colours.  Canvas is most notable for its sharp contrast and rich colour tones because we apply a UV protective gloss coating which gives the colours added vibrancy, particularly in the dark tones and shadows making them appear richer and deeper than in any
other material.

Why choose Canvas – ArtofPunjab Canvas prints are highly collectible.  Every painting is initially offered as part of a Limited Edition series hand-signed by the artist Kanwar Singh but only on a Canvas art print.  These editions have run as low as 25 Canvas prints (Birth of the Khalsa) and will sell out and never again be made available as signed prints - ever. You will also receive a numbered certificate also signed by the artist to list its
number (example 19/25) in the series as a commitment that you own a unique and collectible item.

Archival Quality - we pride ourselves in creating a museum quality product which will last you generations if it is properly framed and hung in a suitable
space.  Exhibition Matte Canvas by Epson is lab tested to last 200 years without showing signs of fading or any colour degradation

Presentation - Canvas should be stretched and hung without glass.  We coat every Canvas with a scratch resistant and UV protective gloss sealer.  The benefit of a material such as Canvas which does not require glass is that it can be viewed from any angle without reflective glare.  It is also 50% lighter once framed since glass contributes to the weight of the final framed piece so hanging is easier.  If you wish to hang Canvas using a modern gallery stretch method, please contact us right after you place your order so that we can add a special dark border for the sides.

The Look – Watercolour paper has a softer finish, beautiful textured paper with a vibrancy and richness similar to Canvas but with a flat matte finish.  The overall contrast (or pop) of the blacks and whites are not as dramatic as Canvas but the colours are still just as rich.

Why choose Textured Watercolour paper - The Cold Press Bright Watercolour Paper by Epson is one of the best quality, sturdy and beautifully textured all natural (acid free) papers available on the market.  The artist selected this paper for its quality and the beautiful texture. The density of this paper allows it to absorb heavy amounts of archival ink, resulting in rich vibrant tones and sharp colour contrast.  The surface of Cold Press Bright paper has a beautiful texture like hand-made paper which brings a subtle old world quality and sense of permanence to the art.

Archival Quality - we pride ourselves in creating a product which is at a museum quality and will last you generations if it is properly framed and hung in a
suitable space.  Cold Press Bright Paper is lab tested to last 120 years without showing signs of fading or any colour degradation.

Presentation – Textured Watercolour prints should be professionally framed behind glass with acid free matting (a double matte is preferable).  The matting adds size and impact to the final piece.  To allocate proper space consider that a three inch matte with a three inch frame adds a total of 12 inches on
both the horizontal and vertical (thus a 20" x 30" print covers
32" x 42" of wall space when hung) so measure your space accordingly before selecting the print size.

Why choose an Enhanced Matte print -  This is our most economical option but highly rated in quality none the less.  It is nothing like a poster since the range of colours on a Giclee fine art print far exceed that of mass produced poster print so it's well worth framing.  It does an excellent job of reproducing the artist's full colour palette while
creating a statement on your walls.

Presentation - Enhanced Matte prints should be professionally framed for maximum
effect and long life but can be done using care with a ready-made frame which comes with matting.  It should be framed behind glass with acid free matting to prevent the print from adhering to the glass over time.  The matting also adds size and
impact to the final piece.  To allocate proper space consider that a three inch matte with a three inch frame adds a total of 12 inches on both the horizontal and vertical sides (thus a 20" x
30" print covers 32" x 42" of wall space when hung) so measure
