Journey of the Mind
UK’s first Permanent Sikh Art Gallery located at the Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara in Slough opened in 2017. The Gallery is the permanent home of the dramatic Sikh paintings by artist Kanwar Singh with a collection of 40 paintings and original sketches, presented on an unprecedented scale.

Artist Kanwar Singh extraordinary collection of artwork will be on display at the Queens Museum in NYC this Fall 2025.

Travelling Sikh art exhibition, 'Journey of the Mind' started its UK tour in the city of Birmingham at the Library of Birmingham, featuring figurative drawings and paintings by world-renowned Sikh artist Kanwar Singh and text panels–including excerpts in the original Gurmukhi script.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
The 'Journey of the Mind' Sikh Art UK tour was in Glasgow, Scotland at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. The exhibition explored the stories of those who historically attained the religion’s highest spiritual levels. Through their stories, visitors can discover and take part in the spiritual journey of the mind, gaining a greater awareness of alternative approaches to thinking and understanding the mind for inner growth and clarity.
Arnolfini Art Gallery
Third stop of the touring Sikh Art exhibition was in Bristol, UK at the extraordinary Arnolfini Art Gallery.
The exhibition featured an extensive collection of paintings by Kanwar Singh and handmade drawings alongside an in-depth historical and spiritual narrative, this travelling exhibition allows viewers of all backgrounds to better understand the teachings of the Sikh Gurus.
New Art Exchange Gallery
Traveling Sikh art exhibit "Journey of The Mind" showcased in Nottingham, UK at The New Art Exchange gallery. The highly acclaimed display features works of artist Kanwar Singh and explores concepts of mental health and the mind. A series of interactive events around Sikh concepts have also been scheduled throughout.
