Our highest quality product is the Giclee fine art prints on Premium Canvas. This museum quality print produces vibrant colours and is made to look like an original oil painting. This elegantly textured canvas features a matte non-reflective surface with a bright white point, exceptionally high Dmax and wide colour gamut. Premium Canvas prints are initially offered as part of a Limited Edition series of 100 copies hand-signed by artist Kanwar Singh.

Order Preparation Time
We require 1 week to prepare your order. This time is used to ensure your print meets our high quality standards. The Giclee fine art printing process we use offers the best colour accuracy for print reproduction and is considered the gold standard of the art print industry.
For canvas orders, extra time may be required for the application and drying of the UV and scratch resistant coating which will greatly extend the life of the canvas. Most people prefer to frame canvas prints without glass and this provides the necessary protection for glass free framing.

We are confident in the quality of our high quality prints and your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receiving the artwork for a full refund on the price of the item. Shipping charges are not refunded.
All prints must be returned to ArtofPunjab directly. Please email us at contact@artofpunjab.com prior to mailing a return to avoid additional duty charges. Prints must be undamaged and in the original packaging. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
Upon receipt of the returned item we will process a refund and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
The Story
In the course of the long and fierce battle at Chamkaur in 1705, Guru Gobind Singh ji had blessed his two eldest sons and many followers before they attained martyrdom for the Sikh faith. He was separated from his Sikh disciples and finally took his rest deep in the Machhivara jungle, reciting the shabad, ‘Mittar Pyare Nu.’ With this prayer, Guru ji tells the listener of the need for constant reflection upon the supreme reality of Waheguru which surpasses the necessity of worldly comforts. Though it seemed as if the whole world was set against the Guru, with so much lost and many loved ones forever departed, his connection to God never faltered. The painting shows that with the Shabad on his lips, his being is lifted far from this transient world of struggle and sorrow, his mind attuned to an eternal reality beyond space and time. He rests, not upon a rock, but in the comforting arms of the eternal, Waheguru.
Guru Gobind Singh is the conduit who can open our awareness into this other, deeper and unfathomable reality, simply by living mortal life as he did. When he was present in our world, he was connected to the eternal life energy of the One universal reality which whirled ceaselessly though him. He lived with no regard to either the pleasure or pain which life brought him, so that while he emphasized justice and compassion in this world, his eyes could close to the transient nature of all that occurred here and yet remain constantly awake to that inner and greater reality which is forever elusive without His will.
Our Gurus walked on the same land we walk on. They lived the everyday activities that all human beings live. They achieved things that we can strive to, like poetry, meditation, and martial arts. Their teachings were simple, practical, human teachings. Their lives were both human and divine.
